LumiNode Process Engine
Discover the LumiNode Process Engine
Engineered by Luminex
Tomorrow’s lighting rigs will increasingly be Ethernet-connected, and LumiNode ensures that various controls can communicate with different fixtures. To support this, Luminex has introduced the concept of process engines.
Process engines let you define what you like or need to do with incoming data streams from different controls, protocols, or even internal sources. They allow you to choose the output that needs to be generated, which can include a variety of different lighting control protocols, not necessarily limited to DMX/RDM output.
Every process engine has features like soft patching, LTP/HTP merging, backup, switching, and, a custom mode for the most complex systems. The output of a process engine can even serve multiple DMX/RDM ports and network protocols simultaneously.
