Beam Optimizer Filter

The Beam Optimizer is designed to deliver a more homogenized color mix when the Color Force II(Plus) or Studio Force II(Plus) is used for direct lighting. Unlike traditional diffusion filters, the Beam Optimizer installs behind the main lens, enhancing output “punch” while minimizing color fringing in the beam.

Key Specifications:

  • Compatibility: All CFII, CFII+, SFII, SFII+ 12 models
  • Filter Type: Elliptical spread, 10° vertical x 40° horizontal
  • Installation: Positioned between the reflector and lens
  • Performance: Reduces beam “peakiness” without significantly affecting lumen output; keeps beam from flooding too wide

Product Information

Additional Features:

  • Can be combined with Cyc or Border lenses for enhanced diffusion effects
  • For larger fixtures (48 and 72 models), sets of 4 or 6 filters can be used

Installation Notes:

  • Approximate install time: 5 minutes per fixture using a standard Phillips screwdriver
  • Important: The filter must be installed with the fixture safely on a flat surface (not while hung)
  • Installation instructions are included with each filter
