LDInstitute holds Luminex Networking for Lighting, Audio, Video Training!

A.C. Americas®, your North American distributor of world-class Lighting, Audio, and Video products, in conjunction with LDInstitute, is pleased to provide the Luminex Networking for Lighting, Audio, and Video training, which is back by popular demand.

As audio, lighting, video, and control systems continue to move onto the network, understanding the fundamentals of networking has become an essential skill for AV professionals.

Led by Chase McKnight and Anthony Stofflet, this session aims to make converged networking for AV easy and focuses on the concepts you actually encounter in the field. We’ll break down topics such as network topology, IP addressing and subnetting, bandwidth, PoE, VLANs, multicast, redundancy, and the basic tools for understanding what is happening on a network.

A large portion of the workshop will be hands-on with networking equipment and setting up real-world networks together, connecting these concepts directly to real-world AV applications and showing how they affect the systems we build, deploy, and troubleshoot every day.

Whether you work in audio, lighting, video, integration, live production, or you’re simply finding yourself dealing with networks more often than you used to, this session is designed to give you a stronger foundation and greater confidence when working with networked AV systems.
